Continuum launches Continuum Sports, adds ex-ESPN, Yahoo! vet Lori Taylor to champion efforts

Playing on its reputation for delivering value on TV/OTT campaigns, Continuum Media has kicked off a new sports division: Continuum Sports. Continuum Sports will be the new name and face of the company’s efforts to deliver sports campaigns for agencies and advertisers to reach any sporting event on any network.

Sports dominates TV viewership, and the growth of streaming platforms will only amplify this trend in the coming years. As more and more of our customers look to sports programming for their campaigns, Continuum recognized the need to create a dedicated in-house brand to serve these clients and bring an industry veteran onboard to empower the new brand with their expertise.

Lori Taylor joins Continuum to lead new Sports Division

Continuum Media is proud to announce the hire of Lori Taylor as Director of Advertising Sales for Continuum Sports! Lori brings over 22 years of sports ad sales experience from ESPN, Yahoo!, and Sportfive to the Continuum team. Lori spent 19 years at ESPN across many departments. Lori was key in the success of the ESPN Magazine launch, starting in sales and rising to NY Sales Manager. Lori went on to multimedia sports sales and, as Senior Director, let multimedia teams across linear, digital, and print, managing many categories including Auto, CPG, Retail, QSR, Insurance, Finance, Consumer Electronics, and Video Gaming.

From ESPN, Lori moved to the consulting side of the business for AOL/Yahoo Sports. After Verizon bought the Yahoo properties, Lori was brought in as a consultant on Ad Sales Strategy & Monetization as part of the sports leadership team. From there, she went on to Sportfive Global Marketing as Director, Commercial Sales. She specialized in branded content and global sponsorship sales.

Lori has extensive experience leading complex media negotiations with agencies and advertisers of all sizes. Lori’s go-to-market experience and tenure leading sales teams in Broadcast, Cable, and OTT are the perfect arrangement of skills to lead the new Continuum Sports division and deliver campaigns for new clients.

Lori will be joined in the new division by Kathy Weeks, Continuum’s Director of Sports Solutions, rounding out Continuum’s sports-focused planning team with expertise in broadcast, cable, and OTT/CTV. Lori and Kathy will be reporting into JP Imbrogno, SVP Advertising Sales.
